I am by far the worst blogger ever. I love to read others and see what is going on with them but then I feel like I am out of time for me. Well maybe that is just an accuse but don't judge I have been busy.

I know I have lots of catching up to do since Oct so I guess I can start and say we had a fun first Halloween. Declan was a farmer in cute overalls and a plaid shirt, then he was a monster and last but not least he was bat man. We went to two Halloween parties and he had to dress up on Halloween. It was fun and very low keys. We did our ward party and got to see all the cute kids dressed up and did Bobbi's ward party and got to hand out more candy and see more kids. On Halloween we hung out at mom and dad's house in the drive way and handed out candy and ate soup. Declan also started really moving in October and he did a funny little crab crawl as Grandma Hoopes calls it. He is growing up way to fast for my liking.

November was an eventful month full of tons of things to be grateful for. We did dinner over at Bob's with the whole family minus those that live in Ca but we did miss them tons. Us girls broke out the ads after dinner because we needed to make our plan of attack for black Friday shopping. Poor us all got the flu from throwing up in Walmart to leaning out the car door at Target. We got all the shopping done even though poor Bethany had to go home because she was so sick and I had to call it an early night because James had to go to work at 4 and I was throwing up too. It was a fun night none the less but next year we hope to not get sick and really show them what the Hoopes girls are made of.

December started off a little rough and I can honestly say that it was the worst month by far this past year. Now many of you may know me and my love for Christmas and how excited I get in like July for it to get here but this year was not so good. When Christmas finally got here it was great but leading up to it I could have done without. I am so thankful for my family and friends and all the love that they shared with me and how helpful they all were. I know I wasn't the most fun this year but next year at Christmas I promise it will be better.

January was a good month because it was Birthday month for me and I lived it up. We got to go to California and to Las Vegas so it was fun and busy. James surprised me and stayed home from work to just hang out which is what we did. He got me flowers and a beautiful necklace which i just love.

I am now a part time Target employee. Yea for me and my sweet discount. I really like working there. I only work a few nights a week and it is just enough to take some stress off the bill paying. I am sales floor so I pretty much walk around and make the clothes look nice and put back everything that someone else ditched along the way. I think it is fun to help people and see what they are buying and I also have just been trained in cashiering which is fun too because I get to see what everyone is buying. If you know me, you know that I love to know what is going on and maybe a little noisy but I don't see it as a bad thing. I full embrace it. HAHA!

James is still at LifeLock but wants to find a better job because he is sick of being on the phones and who could blame him. He is always looking for a good job so if you hear of anything let us know. He is working hard and being a wonderful husband and dad.

We are still working on the house which feels like a never ending story and I am not a huge fan of cleaning but I have been working on getting better. I like to play to much to clean but I am working on it. So forgive me if my house is a little on the not so pretty side. haha.

So I am the worst blogger but hey at least i know that. We are even living in our house right now because we had a flood and we are in he middle of getting our floor re-done. The fridge water line popped off and water was running for about 4 hours and on fake wood floor that is not good but hey we are putting in tile so we are pretty excited about that but hey there is the reason I have been MIA.

Anyways Declan has been super sick between pink eye and a super bad head cold. So it has been rough to see him so sick and feel like I couldn't do anything. Being a mom is hard work but I guess I knew that.

So since I have been gone I figured I would just overload you with pictures because really I have such a cute boy.

What we have been up to

I am not the best blogger in the world because i can come up with any reason to not get on and write. I have been lazy and there is nothing else I can say about it. I do love spending time with my boy and everyday he gets bigger and it just makes me so happy. I love watching him grow up. It is crazy to think that just a year ago from the 4th of July I found out that I would be having a baby and now he is here and smiling and laughing and pooping, it is just so exciting to me.

James has been working like crazy and is doing really well with the early mornings. I spend most of my days hanging out with my little man and trying to clean up the house which doesn't go to well except for the dishes because I can do those. Motherhood is alot of work but i love everything about it. There are some days where i don't want to get all fixed up and do my hair but I do it anyways because it makes me feel better. If I have any advice it would be to always get ready for the day.

It seems that almost everyday that he gets home from work we run over to my parents house and go swimming. Declan loves the pool and just hangs out in it. We love being with family and how much time we get to spend with them.

We love our new house and I need to post pictures of how it is looking but lets just say I am super slow at unpacking. Speaking of the house we have been super unlucky with some certain little visitors that are nasty and making be want to scream. Those nasty things that I am speaking of are scorpions. They are nasty and mean and I kill them every chance that I get. We have found three in the house and as soon as I see them I go at them with a hammer and carpet cleaner. Now you ask why carpet cleaner, well because it has a wonderful bottle that shoots a straight stream right on them. We walk around with a black light because it makes them light up neon green. We go hunting in the backyard and we make look ghetto but we get the job done.

Other then the nasty little monsters things are going really good. I am going to be painting the kitchen red and the down stairs bathroom with pictures to follow. I love the fact that i get to do whatever I want to my house and make it look the way that I want it to.

Declan's Blessing

We had tons of family in town for Declan's and Kate's baby blessing. It was such a great thing to hear James give his son a blessing and hear all the promises that wait for Declan. Declan was so good and didn't even cry once during the whole blessing.

After Declan's blessing we ran over to Kate's blessings. We did a big dinner at Bobbi's with over 40 people there so it was busy non-stop. I love when family gets together becuase James and I were in Rexburg for so long and couldnt be with family so now we try and do as much as possible.

So it all started Thursday morning at 7:30 am with James and I going to the hospital to get induced. We started with a pill that would kick start it because I was only 20% and maybe at a 2. So while we were waiting for things to get moving, my belly broke out into a nasty rash. I couldn't stop scratching. It was terrible. It was weird to be so uncomfortable and in pain from a rash when I was there supposed to be having pain from labor! We requested some medicine or cream to help it but didn't get anything approved by my doctor for 2 hours! It was terrible. I know this sounds dumb, but it was bad.

So back to the labor ... after waiting for the pills to kick me into labor, nothing was happening. Still at a 2. Still at 20%. So needless to say, we had a ways to go. After about 8 hours of waiting and not much movement they started me on the gels. Talk about a not very fun thing to go through becuase it makes you have to pee but you have to wait 45 minutes ... which was not fun. So after waiting a forever long wait, I finally got to pee :) and started the walking. I walked for an hour and got back to the room and .... lost the plug at 11pm. So from then on no more walking.

They started me on the pitocin drips which really got everything going. I had to wear an oxygen mask becuase Declan's heart rate went up, and let me tell you when you are having a really bad contraction and they have a nasty mask on you and you have to focus on breathing and everything it is NO FUN. During really bad contractions I ripped my mask off because I couldn't take it anymore! at 11 PM my water finally broke. Early the next morning they gave me some other pain killer that would take a little bit of the pain off and help me sleep.

The pain really started to kicking and around 6am with all the steady contractions. Contraction after contraction and despite all the pain, there still was not much progress "down there." Around 6:30 AM I got my epidural which made things so much better. Its nice knowing that I was contracting, because my monitor says so, and not having to feel it. I had to switch laying from side to side with this yellow peanut ball between my knees, kinda like a lop-sided exercise ball. Nurses started to come in every 2 hours throughout the day to see how things were going.

Note that this is now 24+ hours since we started my original induction one morning earlier.

Throughout the day, not much progress was happening, but at least the epidural kept the pain away. The drugs worked ... I would fall asleep during mid-conversation and then wake up and finish it. I guess you could say that I was so out of it.

We watched a lot of news becuase the day we arrived to the hospital was the day that Japan had the big earthquake and tsunami so we tried to keep up to date on that. So, things were going slow and steady all day long up until 8pm when we found out I was not progressing past an 8 1/2 and actually started to go backwards. I began to swell, so I was given the news that after 36 hours of labor I would be having a c-section.

I was really sad becuase I had worked so hard and to just have them go in and take him out in a matter of 15 mins. Yes I did get a little emotional but it was nice to have James, my mom and sister there for me. I knew that it was the best thing to do becuase it would keep Declan safe.

James dressed down in the paper scrubs they gave him and we went to surgery. The epidural was making me so numb the nurses had to lift me onto the surgical table. James waited outside until after I was prepped and ready to go. They brought James in and he sat up by me and held me hand. They started the surgery and when they were ready to bring Declan out they told James he could watch. He actually recorded them pulling Declan out!

My doctor couldn't stop talking about how BIG Declan was the moment that he arrived. She, my doctor, said "No wonder we couldn't get him to come earlier! He wouldn't fit through!" Declan actually had a small ring on his head where he was trying, but wouldn't fit.

Declan arrived into the world at 8:38 PM on March 11, 2011. He was 9 and 1/2 pounds and was 21" long.

We love him so much and can't wait to see him grow into a strong boy. We want to say thank you to all of our friends and family who have supported us during this journey. You have helped us more than words can express.

Where have I been....

So much has gone in the past few months to say the least. I am a year older and maybe not wiser but tons have changed. We now have a wonderful baby boy and a new house. Things have been so crazy with having a baby, James starting a new job and buying a house all in one month. As you can tell I cut my hair off for locks of love and you know what I didn't think I would miss it but I do. I loved my long hair and when I see pictures of it I wish it was back. So needless to say I am growing it out. I know that is no reason for my long absence but what can I say i was a little busy growing a cute little guy and working all the time. Lets just say that I am so glad that I get to spend my time with the cutest little guy in the world and James gets to come everyday at 2pm to hang out with us after he gets off work.

I will post a few pictures and write my story on having Declan in a different post.

It's been awhile...

So yes I know that we have been MIA for a long while but lets just say lots have been going on. We are.....expecting our very first baby boy. We couldn't be more excited for our little man to join our family. He is due March 3rd and we have picked the name Declan James Jackson. I love him so much already and when he moves I cant help but smile. I get so excited to know that he is there growing and getting bigger everyday. I cant wait for him to get here. I am also very scared for him to get here becuase for the past almost 3 years it has just been James and I and we pretty much do whatever we want and now that will change. But even with the big change I am so excited for Declan to come and join us. I know that every soon to be parent thing of what will their baby be like and what will he/she act like. I know we can't worry about that because who knows what the future will hold but all I can say I am so excited. I love my little man so much. I will have to post belly pictures and pictures of him on the ultrasound soon. I will make no promises becuase I am not doing very good on the whole posting thing.

James has graduated from BYU-Idaho and we have moved to Arizona near family. It is crazy to not be in Rexburg. We do miss the life we had up there and I knew i would say it but never this quick. haha. I think we miss the things of Rexburg that you cant get anywhere but there. We miss Reed's Chocolate Milk, Horkley's, Apple Beer, Bajio's, New York Burrito and Craigo's. I know we will be back up to visit family because James has family up there and our friends are still up there for the next long while. haha. We do miss them a ton. We hope they come and visit. With that said we do love being near family and all the silliness that it brings.

James is working from home doing writing which he loves. I am working at University of Phoenix and I could be more excited for baby to come and join us. haha. We have started the hunt to look for a new home becuase we want to buy. I know crazy how fast life is going with the new baby and house hunting I am just not sure when it will slow down. We would love to have a new home before he gets here but we shall see what happens.

So we went to Vegas to look at a job for James and George but James decide it was not the place for him so we made sure to live it up and play lots. While we were there we went to Coke World and tried the many different kinds from all over the world but I am a fan of diet coke. James and I also stopped and had one of the best ice creams that i have ever had it was so wonderful.

So 2 years goes by really fast... well for us it did. I can't believe we are already at 2 years but I can say that I have loved every minutes of it. I am so lucky to have James and to have someone put up with me. haha.

We went to this really yummy place called the Cellar. James took me here for my birthday and I loved it so much I surprised him when he got home from work to trip out to this wonderful place. When I called to make reservation they asked if we wanted to sit in the cellar and I said sure why not well little did I know that we would be alone and have our own table with no one to bug us. It was so much fun and it was wonderful to say the least.

We had so much. I haven't been in years but I can honestly say I did alright. We stayed in a hotel room with the Wyatts and we had fun playing games and going down to the pool and hot tub. I guess we can thank Laura for getting married becuase the reason we went down was for her open house.

So I have no really reason for not blogging forever expect that I just haven't felt like it. Not to much is going on here but school and work but I do have some pictures from a few trip we have been on. They may or may not be in order but that is ok becuase I am not to worried about it.

James is almost done with school we are now in our last semester and he is pretty excited to be done and looking for jobs. James is going into Advertising so if you know of any jobs let us know. We plan on moving to Az to be near family and I am pretty excited to get down there. I am getting more and more excited to get down there. I want to start packing now but I have to keep reminding myself that I have like 3 months. My work gets done on the July 2nd. Well school gets out on May 27th but I am doing summer school to make more money.

I wish I had more to share but I have just cant think of anything so I will just get to posting the pictures and telling you about our trips.

What is taking so long.....

I know I haven't done the best of jobs of blogging but here is the update starting from Christmas until now.

Well for Christmas this year we got to go home to California. We left on Friday and didn't tell mom and dad that we were leaving. I so super sick the whole way down. I had the flu and it was not so much fun. But we were so glad that we made it safe and without any bad weather or car problems. While we were at home we got to go to the beach and drive the quad around. I forgot how much fun it is to be at home. We also got to go out and pick oranges off the tree just about everyday that we were there. I have a huge problem of buying oranges becuase of the fact that I can go out and pick them off the tree. So while I am in Idaho I usually don't have any unless someone else gets them. For Christmas this year I got a pretty sweet sewing machine that I am so excited to you use and James got the new Tony Hawk Wii game. We both had such a wonderful Christmas and we wouldnt trade it for anything.

So the Sunday after Christmas James, Dan and I jumped into the Civic and headed out to The Bobbi's. We got to spend New Years down there with the family so it was so much fun. It was the first time in 2 years that the whole family got together without having a wedding. I love when the family gets together and can share such great times together. While we were down there we had a ugly sweater contest that Becky Hoopes won because of her sweet dance moves. We also rode on a blow up ball. So you fill it up and climb inside at the top of a hill and roll on down. It was so much fun and it was great when someone would get out of the ball and couldn't walk straight with me being one of the them. We hated to leave at the end of the trip but both James and I had to get back to work.

I turned the big 26 this year and it was a ton of fun. James took me out to a really nice restaurant and when we got home he surprised me with having all of our friends over with cake and balloons. When I walked in after dinner the Hymas' and the Wyatts jumped up from behind the counter and scared me so bad. I am so super lucky to have friends that can come over and play. James got me a gift card to go get my nails done and super cute coat. He is so good at picking things out for me I just love him so much. Just a few days ago I decided to do the Teton Dam 10k. I am pretty excited and have started my training. I need to pick it up because June is going to get here before I know it. Other then getting ready for my 10k I am just working and trying to keep the house clean.

James has been doing homework like crazy and is doing really well in school. He is working and we have been talking about to do after we are all done with school and as of right now we are looking into Vegas but we will let you know what happens next.

Christmas is in the air............

I am a big fan of this time of year. It means I get to see my family and go home to the warm state of California. I am so sick of walking outside and feeling my nose hairs freeze but in just two short weeks I get to go home. I am so excited even James gets super excited when we talk about it. We both love Christmas becuase we get to spoil each other beyond belief. I know we are bad but hey it is just the two of us so we can. haha.

James asked me the other day if Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I said no, from October to March is my favorite time of the year becuase it is just jammed packed with fun things for us. From Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, My Birthday, Valentines, and our Anniversary we are just super busy but love it.

For those that are in California and Arizona we cant wait to see you and everyone else we will be back.

I haven't blogged in forever and it is so bad. We have had a few things going on so I guess you could say I have been busy...hahaha.

We do have some fun news...... as many may already know we got a new car. It was a fun and scary at the same time. I say scary becuase it is a big money burden and I was just worried. We downsized from a 2002 blazer to a 2008 Honda civic. I must say we love our new car but adjusting to the size will take some time. I am a huge over packer and I will have to cut back. Our new car is super nice we feel way spoiled in it. It has a super nice navigation system and a moon-roof/sun-roof. (I am not sure what the difference is so yeah) But it was so much fun to go car shopping but by the end James was so done. I am window shopper so I enjoyed the looking but when we found the car that James feel in love with it was hard to look at anything else.

I started a second job working with a little girl at the school I already work for. She is as sweet as can be sometimes but others not so much. I start my day with her at 10:15 and go till school gets out. It has been a lot of fun and a huge learning experience for me to say the least. I learn something new everyday from her and I just hope she is learning from me. She has a learning disability and whatever she learns is from me and her other aide. It is such a fun feeling knowing that I am helping someone learn. She really makes me happy. I can feel myself becoming happier everyday even after we have hard days. So besides the new job I have been crafting and I must say I love it. It helps me relax and I think it is so much fun. I am not doing bows so much and more I have started to make little people and I am trying to make some dammit dolls. I will let you know how those go after I try it.

James is still working for the same company but in Jan. he will start a writing position there and he is super excited. He loves writing and correcting papers which i think is crazy but he just loves it. I think he should start charging people to correct their papers but we will see. He starts back up in school again in the winter and he is excited to get back in the classroom.

So besides work and a new car not much has been going on for us. We had a super fun Halloween party with the ward and I am pretty excited for Black Friday even though I don't think I have anyone to go with me. It makes me miss my sisters and my mom when I have no one to go shopping with. James has said he will go with me but it is just not the same as when you go with the girls but I will take him none the less.

The weather hasn't been to bad but today after church it just has been falling like crazy. I like coming into a warm house and having my space heater going and staying warm. I am not a fan of being cold in fact I hate being cold. That is why I am super excited to go home for Christmas and be in the warm sun.

I will have a post to follow with pictures and I hope that it wont take me forever to have another post. hehe

So as poor college kids we didn't do much for James' birthday. I decorated his door so when we woke up got a little surprise. I made him his favorite cake and went to Grandma's house for dinner. I am not very good at making round cakes and every time I make an other one I learn something new. So don't judge if it looks a little off I tried. We also took some friends with us to Grandma's house to enjoy a yummy BBQ so thanks for coming Tatton, Kirsten and Brookey. Since I didn't want his birthday to go by with no gifts I got him a brand new golf towel. It is black and clean unlike his white(well now brown) nasty one.

I love with my mom and dad come into town to play. Since I don't get to see them much because I live forever and a day away I always enjoy when they come up. I also love when they are here becuase Dad has the best stories of growing up here. I love just hearing him share what he did or where he has been. We got to go fishing in the Teton River which was fun for mom and I becuase we got to read and watch the boys. I know the boys had fun even though only one fish couldn't escape their flies.

We also went to James' grandmas house to visit her and show dad some of the farm equipment. As you can see some of the toys grandmas has brought dad back to when he was a little boy. We had a lot of fun while they were here and want them to come back again. We miss you guys.

Its been awile

So it has been over a month and I was going to let an other one go by but I thought I better not. So here I am blogging away. Tons have gone on I just have been to lazy to write about it. Now I could lie and say I have been busy but the truth is I am lazy.

Where to start..................

Ok I will start with my sweet trip to Az. I love going down there and visiting my sisters and brothers.
While I was down there we went to this way cool place where you got jump and slide on all these cool blow up things. It was fun to be with the kids and watch and also join in the fun. I got to eat at my favorite places while I was there like Panda express. It doesn't take much to make me a happy girl and being with my sisters and eating panda is one of the many ways to bring a smile to my face. Poor James had to stay at home in Rexburg and work and also go to school. We missed each other tons and have decided to not do long trips alone again, it is not just as much fun.

James and I would both love to end up down in Az some day but right now we just have to wait for school to get over with. We should be done by next summer so lets all keep our fingers crossed and pray that is when we will be done. I love being up here in Idaho but I am ready for something new. I know once we are gone we will miss it but James has family up here and so do I so visiting is always an option.

I am bad

So I know it has been forever since I have posted anything but I guess you could say I was busy or just lazy which ever you would prefer. Since I am not working right now becuase it is summer I spend most of my day cleaning house and reading. Which I am not at all complaining about that because I love reading. But I do feel like I have become more lazy even though I am pretty sure I never feel like I have a min to myself. James is so busy with school sometimes I feel like we dont talk much and when we do it is about homework but that will all be over in a couple of weeks becuase the semester is coming to end which we are both super excited about. James is a far better student then I am so he puts more energy into his homework but he really enjoys his classes.

I went to Arizona a couple weeks ago and had the best time. It was just me that went for Layne's Baptisms becuase James has work and school. He was home alone for a week which I dont think we will ever do again. It is so much more fun to have him then to be without him. I just love spending time with my sisters. I so want to move down there so bad and be able to spend all the time with my sisters. James gets so excited about moving but we still have like a year left of school. We both want to be done with Rexburg but we know that as soon as we are gone we will miss it. But right now I would rather miss it then be here. haha.

In a couple of weeks some of the family is coming up to Ut to go to a wedding so James and I will be going down. Then my paretns will be coming up to go fishing and hang out. I love family so I get super excited when I get to spend time with them.

Well that is us in a nutshell and what we have been up to these past couple of weeks and what will be going on. I will post later with pictures.

The Teton Dam Marathon

As some of you may know I have being running to get into shape but I have needed a reason to keep going becuase I am not a fan of just working out for no reason. So I decided to sign up for the Dam Marathon so yes that would make me a Dam Runner.

I am not a very good runner and haven't ran since High School like my Sophomore year which was a very long time ago. So I thought the 5k would be a very big challenge which in case it was. I started running around the end of march in Vans and James said I needed to get real running shoes. Now I hate the look of running shoes, I think they are ugly but I was able to find some cute pink ones so I was off and running.

The date of the race was June 13th and it was so much fun. I never thought I would be able to ever do this. Now I want to run an other one. Crazy I know I am just not the running type but it was such a cool feeling to be part of something and finish something big.

Hurricanes

Well as most of you may know I am coaching and playing Frisbee. I love it so much. It is a great workout and you get to be part of a team. I also have the best team becuase they work hard and have become great friends.

In these pictures I was just coaching and not playing so that is why I am not dressed out but the girls talked me into playing so I am now.

We had a small team to start out with but have grown. We are the best looking team might I add!

The Zoo

Well a couple of weeks ago we went to the Idaho Falls Zoo with some friends. I have been wanting to go but between Frisbee games and rain we have been putting it off so we finally went. I had to so much fun. It was only $10 for both James an I to get in...talk about a deal. So we snapped a few pictures of the Penguins(of course), Monkeys, Lion, Tiger, and some other funny looking animals. I totally want to go again becuase it was just that much fun.

What is up with us

So the Frisbee season has started again and I am so excited. This season we are the Hurricanes! I love coaching and I have a super good team. The girls are so funny because they keep calling me "Coach". We have a game on Friday and I have to think of something fun to make the girls. Last week I made them orange hair bows and Steph made them yummy cupcakes. If you can think of anything fun to make a team of Frisbee players let me know for sure. Besides doing homework all the time James still takes the time to come to games and be the team mom.
Speaking of James he is such a good Husband. He is so willing to put up with me. He is so busy with homework he hardly has time for himself but he seems to manage a golf game every now and then. He is really enjoying school and has found something he loves to study.
Well that is pretty much all that is going on with us. We are kinda boring. So for the next few months it will be Frisbee and James will continue in homework.

We love going up to the cabin whenever we have a chance. We know that when we move away from Idaho we wont be making it back up to the cabin as much as we would like. So our friends Steph and George came with us. It was such a relaxing weekend I could not have asked for anything better. We played games, snacked, watched movies and snacked some more. There was also some squirrel watching going on.

Our sweet outfits that we wore to open up the cabin on the way back from Ut. I had to wear James' shoes because mine kept getting wet. I know we look for stylish. Pretty sweet stuff if you ask me.

James is making some yummy smores. Since the ground was covered in snow all the fires had to be done indoors. Steph and George brought up the smore making stuff and we tried smores with Reese peanut butter cups and they were so good.

James loves to grow beards every now and then and he did this last week. He wanted to do a growing contest with a friend but it had to be cut short becuase of a wedding that we were going to. I am not a fan of the hair so I was so glad to see it go.

One Year!

We have made it. One year together and oh what a year it has been. We have loved everyday of it. I mean who doesn't have hard days but we all get over them. For our one year we went up to Jackson Hole. We stayed at a way cute hotel and went King Hill tubing which was a blast. We also went to Ripleys Believe it or Not. It had some really cool stuff and we would do it again. We had so much fun and want to go back to Jackson this summer. Instead of buying each other gifts we went out of town and got Jackson shirts and mug.

We have loved our first year together and have learned so much. I am so happy to be married to James. We are both excited to see what the

I have been super busy with making hair clips and tutus that I haven't had time for anything else. Now you maybe wondering why am I making all of these... well it becuase I am selling them. I will be up on campus in two weeks at a flea market selling everything I have made. I have had so much fun making them and I am excited to see if they will sell. While they are fun to make my house is covered in hot glue gun and I am sure James just loves having pink bows and flowers laying all around the house.

This the purple and white tutu. I am selling these for $10-15

Theses are just a few clips. I have done about 60 of them. I am going to sell them for $2 or 3 for $5.

So with me luck on my little project becuase I am sure going to need it. hehe

Valentines Day!

I just want to say Happy Valentines Day. I know this maybe late but you can deal.

Well this is James and mine first Valentines Day as a married couple and it was so good I have no idea how they are going to get better. When I woke up Saturday morning and looked at my clock there was a dozen red roses. He had gotten up at 5 in the morning and set up my flowers and gift. He was so sneaky I didn't even hear him get up. He had ordered the flowers and they came while I was setting up for the ward party Friday night so he hid them in water-heater closet. Oh so very sneaky. We exchanged gifts. I made him open mine first because I was pretty excited about the hoodie I got him. Then it was my turn. He got me a way cute shirt and some chocolate which we all know that I love. Well inside my card was a poem that he had written and it didnt make sense at first because well I am a little slow. hehe. It said "Walmart was all out of Wiis so you just get me." So yes that is right I got a wii for Valentines day oh what a spoiler I have.

So yes we have made friends and yes it did take a long time but we do enjoy hanging out with them. James and I like to bowl even though I am not so good we thought it would be fun to go with friends. So all in all we did. Here are the pictures.I am pretty sure he got a strike off that one.Baby James sleeping. Best Bowler of the night.George got pretty much the highest score. That could be a lie I am just not to sure.I am pretty sure Steph won.Brad getting ready to tear it up.Amy's first time bowling since baby James came. It's been awhile

So since I am not the best blogger it takes me time to get things to work. I even tried to add more then two pictures and it didn't go over very well so I had to start all over. I need to take like a class in blogging but I am pretty sure they don't have those. So you will all have to bare with me as i figure this out.

We went to a super bowl party at our friends house Steph and George and had so much fun. We ate way more then we should but all in all had a wonderful time.

A very sad thing happened last month and that would be that James' grandpa passed away. We have had the joy of getting to know him better over the past year. They have invited us down every week for dinner and to help them with anything that they needed. We have learned things about gardening, Dancing with the Stars, and so many more. We are so grateful that we got to spend that time with him.

At the funeral James got to play Taps. He did a wonderful job and Grandpa would have been so proud. It was such a nice funeral.

The New Do!

James has been growing out his hair for sometime and keeping it nice and trimmed for school. Since he cant let it go past his collar or his ears he gets it trimmed every month. Well today was the day he got it all cut off. I must say he looks very dashing with his new do. So here are the before and after pictures!
I also got my haircut but since I am not to daring it was just a trim and she shortened up my bangs for me. I know, I know I just can't get rid of my long hair I just love it so much and I am pretty sure there would be an uproar. Ok maybe not an uproar but I know a few people would be sad.

This is just a quick shout-out to my sisters whether you are by blood or by marriage you guys truly are my best friends. I always know that I can turn to you and know that no matter what comes out of my mouth you will love me no matter what. I know that I am far away and can't do lunches or play with you but I think of you all everyday. I am so excited for the day when we can all go to Target together and do lunches and not be missing anyone. We may all be on different pages when it comes to our lives but when we are together we all seem to get along no matter what.

So I just want to say Thank You for always being there for me and being my sisters.

Welcome to the life of The Jackson 2!

So I have thought blogging for sometime and since school was canceled today I didn't have to work so here I am blogging away. I am not sure how exciting our little life will be to many of you but we are loving just having the two of us to worry about.

I work for the school district by yelling at kids in after-school. All jokes aside I love my job. When that little kid runs up to you and wants you on their team it makes things better. I am all done with school which is super nice but now I have to be an adult. He is doing really good and excited to be in school and is loving his classes. He was a business major but I talked him into trying out communication classes and he has really enjoyed them.

The whole school district that I work in was canceled today because of extreme cold weather. It has to be -19 for them to cancel and when James left for class this morning it was -25. I am not going to lie sitting at home and getting paid for it is super nice.
